Jordan Cason posted a double-double, while Maliki Cobarris poured in 25 points as the Bradford High School boys basketball team defeated Class 5A Ridgeview 59-51 on Jan. 23 in Orange Park.
The Class 3A Tornadoes (12-3) got 11 points and 14 rebounds from Cason as well as 10 points and five steals from Jy’Quez Cason.
K.J. Taylor and Steven Carter scored six and five points, respectively, while Kyren Green added two points.
Bradford, which played Trenton on Jan. 25 and Newberry on Jan. 27 will host Palatka on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 7:30 p.m. The Tornadoes then close the regular season with a home game against Class 5A Belleview on Friday, Jan. 31, at 7:30 p.m.
