Keystone Heights High School’s Olivia Griffin had two top-four finishes and helped the 4x400m relay team place second, while the Indians had two boys relay teams place in the top five at Menendez High School’s Falcon Friday track and field meet on Feb. 21 in St. Augustine.
Griffin placed third in the 400m with a time of 1:03, while also running a fourth-place time of 2:43 in the 800m
She teamed up with Christine DJavaheri, Jasmine Walls and Sophia Moses to run a runner-up time of 4:57 in the 4x400m relay.
DJavaheri, ran a fifth-place time of 28.86 in the 200m.
The 4x100m team of Cali Chamberlain, Laura Herndon, Laila Briseno and Moses ran an eighth-place time of 57.98, while Chamberlain was ninth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:31.
Keystone placed fourth in the 4x400m boys relay, with De’Shawn Williams, Dereon Tochterman, Aaron Wiley and Clark Byrnes teaming up to run 4:13.
Eli Rabe, Ryder Thomas, Ryeland Wahl and Jason Parales teamed up to run a fifth-place time of 9:46 in the 4x400m.
Byrnes earned an individual fourth-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 5.64 meters, while Thomas ran a sixth-place time of 5:11 in the 1600m.
The boys 4x100m team of Byrnes, Tochterman, Jamari Turner and Mason Clark ran an eighth-place time of 48.38.
Keystone had three boys earn ninth-place finishes: Baylor Ford with a time of 25.05 in the 200m, Hunter Sheppard with a time of 2:22.17 in the 800m and Luke Lewis with a throw of 31.83 in the javelin.
Wahl was 10th in the 800m with a time of 2:22.23.
The Indians also had the following boys results: 100m — Wiley 12.12, Byrnes 12.24, Turner 12.30, Ford 12.34, Tochterman 12.63, Clark 12.65; 200m — Clark 26.44; 400m — Wiley 58.31, Byrnes 1:01; 800m — Oliver Miller 2:58, Gavin Morford 3:07; 1600m — Rabe 6:11; high jump — Thomas 1.53, Turner 1.53, Tochterman 1.53; long jump — Turner 5.37, Williams 4.54, Clark 4.05, Morford 3.1; discus — Ricardo Rosario 24.11, Tyler Kerner 21.14, Trase Wooden 4.7; javelin — Kerner 25.07, Judah Moses 19.63, James Carsey 12.47; and shot put — Rosario 9.46, Kerner 9.09, Wooden 8.78.
Additional girls results were: 100m — DJavaheri 13.69, Moses 14.59, Briseno 14.63, Jayla Jamison 16.03, Walls 16.47; 200m — Moses 30.80, Kenslee Phillips 31.82, Herndon 32.23, Jamison 33.60; 400m — Raven Bastin 1:24.09, Walls 1:24.48, Madylinn Michaud 1:26; 1600m — Bailee Morris 7:22; long jump — Herndon 3.94, Moses 3.54, Bastin 3.44; discus — Xana Briley 13.82; and shot put — Briley 6.39.
