KHHS girls relay team is 10th at Craig Speziale Memorial meet

Keystone Heights High School finished 10th in the girls 4x400m relay at the 11th annual Craig Speziale Memorial Track and Field Invitational on March 1 at Ponte Vedra High School.

Cali Chamberlain, Christine DJavaheri, Kaylee Park and Olivia Griffin teamed up to run 4:49 in the relay.

The boys team came close to placing in the top 10 in several events. Ryder Thomas was 11th in the 3200m with a time of 10:38, while the 4x400m team of Baylor Ford, Jamari Turner, Clark Byrnes and Aaron Wiley ran an 11th-place time of 4:03.

Keystone had two 12th-place finishes on the boys side, with Turner clearing 5 feet, 5.75 inches in the high jump and Ford, Turner, Wiley and Byrnes teaming up to run 46.40 in the 4x100m.

Other boys results for Keystone were: 100m — Wiley 11.73, Ford 12.06, Mason Clark 12.36; 200m — Ford 24.43, Wiley 24.52, Byrnes 25.12; 400m — Clark 60.0; 800m — Ryleand Wahl 2:16, Gavin Morford 3:02; 1600m — Thomas 4:52, Mason Gray 6:59, Oliver Miller 8:18; 3200m — Eli Rabe 13:20; 110m hurdles — Turner 19.31, De’Shawn Williams 20.98; 400m hurdles — Turner 1:11, Williams 1:14; long jump Byrnes 18-5; triple jump — Ford 34-2.75; discus — Tyler Kerner 57-1; javelin — Luke Lewis 108-6, James Carsey 40-3; and shot put — Judah Moses 31-6.75, Kerner 28-1.5.

Keystone also had the following girls results: 100m — DJavaheri 14.02, Laura Herndon 14.71, Raven Bastin 15.99; 200m — Ashly McCarthy 28.83, Laila Briseno 31.17, Jasmine Walls 33.97; 400m — DJavaheri 1:09, Sophia Moses 1:14; 800m — Melody Tyre 3:02, Bailee Morris 3:20;1600m — Griffin 6:15, Tyre 6:38; 400m hurdles — Park 1:21, Chamberlain 1:25; high jump — Chamberlain 4-4; long jump — Herndon 13-3.25, Moses 11-1.5; discus — Xana Briley 61-4; javelin — Briley 70-1; and shot put — Briley 23-11.75.
