Daniel Badenhorst, 60, of Hawthorne died at home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
Survivors are his wife, Elena (Meyer) Badenhorst; sons, Frans Badenhorst and Gert Badenhorst and their wives, Samantha and Marilda; four grandchildren and one more on the way; two sisters; and extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Eliam Cemetery in Melrose.

Cathy Sapp
Lois Catherine “Cathy” Sapp, 83, of Starke died Saturday, April 12, 2025, at ET York Care Hospice Center in Gainesville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Rudolph “Rudy” Sapp; and son, David Morgan Sapp.
Survivors are a daughter, Rhonda (Chris) Douglas; and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 17, at 10 a.m. at Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2 p.m.

Ginger Stahler
Ginger Darlene Stahler, 60, of Starke, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville. She was born on May 27, 1964, in Palatka to Ronnie and Bonnie Fowler. She was a devoted wife and mother, and her family was the cornerstone of her life. She truly enjoyed cooking, decorating and spending time with her family and sweet, little Dachshund, Sugar. She had a very kind and generous heart and was always helping others before herself. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will be remembered with great love. Her warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering support for family and friends will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Fowler; and mother, Bonnie Fowler.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Neal Stahler; daughter, Lindsay (Trevor) Hoehns; son, Ronnie Hoffner; sister, Rhonda (Robert) Luke, brother, Chuck (Lorie) Fowler; and sister, Edith (Trey) Appleton. Her memory will be cherished by three grandchildren; one niece; and six nephews.
