Union County High School’s softball team is the third seed in the District 6-Rural tournament, which is being hosted by Branford High School.
The Tigers (15-7) have a first-round bye and will play second seed Branford (17-6) in a semifinal game on Tuesday, April 29, at 7 p.m. If Union wins, it will play top seed Fort White (16-5), fourth seed Bell (7-13) or fifth seed Dixie County (3-16) for the championship on Thursday, May 1, at 7 p.m.
