The Bradford County Sheriff’s Office said one driver was transported to a hospital, and a second driver refused medical treatment after a collision near the Keystone Heights RV Resort on Monday, May 19.
Two people at a nearby restaurant reported seeing the crash, which occurred around 11 a.m.. Both eyewitnesses reported that a blue Honda was stopped at a stop sign facing north on County Road 21B, while an eastbound red Jeep SUV on State Road 100 was approaching the intersection.
The two said the Honda pulled out onto the State Road, and the Jeep struck the front part of the blue car, rolling over several times after the collision. They added that first responders put the female driver of the Honda into an ambulance but did not transport anyone from the Jeep.
Col. Brad Smith of the sheriff’s office said one person was taken to HCA Starke ER for precautionary treatment, while another person refused medical treatment at the scene.
