The Warren Project Corp. is pleased to announce that its first program — Accessible Hygiene for Students — was a success, with 1.046 items being divided among the five public schools in Bradford County to give to students in need.
Thanks go to community members for donating 767 of the items through a drive hosted by the former Fun Point in Starke. In addition, The Warren Project Corp. received a $150 gift card from Publix (Jacksonville division), which was used to purchase toothpaste and boys’ body wash, $32 from individuals and $500 from the Starke Walmart as part of a Spark Good Local Grant. The grant funds were used to supplement multiple categories of hygiene products after the Fun Point drive.
The Warren Project Corp. is blessed to have more than $100 to put toward the hygiene program in the fall of the 2025-26 school year.
Personnel at all schools were excited and grateful for the supplies, sharing how big of a need there is for them. Very basic items, such as deodorant and socks, were among the items most requested by schools.
The Warren Project Corp. is grateful to Bradford County for ensuring that the students’ needs were met. The organization looks forward to continuing the program and improving it over the years to come.
