Cassidy Brown, Luke Sapp and Ansley Ward were named Outstanding 4-H’ers of the Year at the Bradford County 4-H awards banquet, which was held June 3 at the Gov. Charley E. Johns Conference Center in Starke.
Brown and Ward were the junior and intermediate honorees, respectively, while Sapp was the senior honoree.
Amber Sapp of the Endeavor Club was presented with the Club Leader of the Year Award.
The Endeavor Club earned an Emerald Clover Award — the highest honor a club can achieve regarding performance standards.
Two clubs received Gold Clover Awards for performance standards: Green Acres and Leadership.
The Crawford Swine and Homies clubs earned Silver Clover Awards.
Clover Awards were also earned by individual members. intermediate member Ward was the only 4-H’er to receive an Emerald Award.
Sapp was one of four senior members to earn Gold Clover Awards, joining Michael Brown, Kelsey Reddish and Elijah Sapp.
Intermediate members receiving Gold Clover Awards were Destin Brown, Dylan Brown, Sophie Elkins, Nicholas Ward and Avery Wulff-Vanderpuije.
Brown added to her Outstanding Junior 4-H’er of the Year Award by earning a Gold Clover Award.
Shawn Ward also received a Gold Clover Award in the junior division.
Four members earned Silver Clover Awards: Jake Markham in the senior division, Addyson Hall and Jaden Hendrieth in the intermediate division and Bret Polk in the junior division.
Two senior members received Bronze Clover Awards: Regan Broome and Rylee Dixon.
Intermediate member Wyatt Jackson and junior members Jaxson Hanson and Zion Tyson also earned Bronze Clover Awards.
Cloverbuds (ages 5-7) who earned Green Clover Awards were Kingsley Best and Noah Morris.
The banquet also included the presentation of Community Supporter awards to Tony Arnette, Benji Bennett and Lisa Holtzendorf.
