A Lake City woman who attacked her victim while the man was on the phone with a 911 dispatcher was sentenced to 49 days in jail and three years’ probation.

Audrena Mallard, 35, of Lake City, was arrested by Bradford deputies on June 26 for aggravated assault and battery.

According to an arrest report, the victim told deputies he and Mallard got into an argument at a residence in the Woodland Acres neighborhood.

The victim added that while he was on the phone with a dispatcher, Mallard threw a television at him but missed.

The dispute then moved outside the home, where Mallard continued chasing and hitting the victim while he was on the phone with 911.

The victim claimed Mallard was “very intoxicated,” and Deputy Mark Juen wrote in the arrest report that he agreed with that assessment.
