KHHS, UCHS girls golf teams are 2nd behind Columbia High —

Keystone Heights and Union County tied for second behind Columbia in a Sept. 9 girls golf match at Lake City’s Quail Heights Country Club.

The Indians and the Tigers each had a team score of 237, with Columbia winning the match with a score of 168.

Keystone’s Aubrey Brooks and Union’s Katelyn Seay finished tied for fifth. Each made par on one hole to finish with a score of 51.

The Tigers’ Kerissa Seay shot a seventh-place score of 52, while the Indians’ Rebecca Binet shot an eighth-place score of 57. Each made par on one hole.

Keystone’s Bryley Lee and Union’s Sophia Elixson each had a score of 64 to finish tied for 10th.

Also competing for the Indians were Amber Wagner (65), Jasmine Walls (70) and Evelyn Bardier (76).

Union’s Sierra Bell and Summer Shaw had scores of 70 and 73, respectively.
