Lions keep rolling in volleyball —

Hope Christian Academy improved to 8-0 in volleyball with a 2-1 (25-17, 23-25, 15-6) road win over First Assembly Christian on Sept. 22.

Addy Wilson had seven kills and five service aces, while Mackenzie McRaney had three aces and three assists. Loralai Green had three aces as well.

In the week prior to the match, the Lions hosted two matches, beginning with a 2-0 (25-15, 25-21) win over Northside Christian on Sept. 16.

Briley Parrish led the team in kills with five, while McRaney had six aces.

Green and Bri Bradshaw each had three aces, with Bradshaw also recording two blocks.

On Sept. 19, Hope defeated Corinth Christian 2-1 (23-25, 25-17, 15-13), getting six aces, five kills and four assists from Wilson.

Bradshaw added four kills, while McRaney had four aces.

The Lions play at Northside Christian on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 5 p.m., following a junior varsity match at 4 p.m. Hope travels to play Gainesville Christian Community on Tuesday, Sept. 30, with the JV teams playing at 5 p.m. and the varsity teams playing at 5:30 p.m.
