Union County High School’s girls golf team placed third in a three-team match on Oct. 7 in Lake City.
The Tigers had a team score of 267. Branford and Taylor County had scores of 204 and 242, respectively.
Union was led by Sophia Elixson, who placed ninth with a score of 64. Teammate Kerissa Seay shot a 10th-place score of 65.
Katelyn Seay was involved in a two-way tie for 13th, finishing with a score of 68.
Summer Shaw shot a 19th-place score of 78.
