Keystone Heights High School hosted Newberry in an Oct. 16 girls golf match, with Aubrey Brooks finishing as the medalist with a score of 48.
The Indians finished with a team score of 230, while Newberry didn’t field a full team.
Brooks made par on two holes in finishing in first by eight strokes.
Amber Wagner and Newberry’s Harper Branaman each shot a 56 to tie for second. Wagner made par on one hole.
The Indians’ Zoey Gill, Jillian Huntley and Bryley Lee all tied for fourth. They each shot a 63, with Huntley making par on one hole.
Emily Cunningham placed seventh with a score of 68, while Evelyn Bardier and Jasmine Walls were involved in a three-way tie for eighth. Each shot a 70.
Ila Miller and Averi Hemphill were 11th and 13th, respectively, with scores of 71 and 73.
Prior to playing Newberry, the Indians took part in a three-team match on Oct. 14 in Lake City. Columbia and Branford took first and second, respectively, with scores of 166 and 198, while Keystone had a third-place score of 248.
Brooks, who made par on one hole, led the team with a seventh-place score of 49.
Gill and Lee were 11th and 17th, respectively, with scores of 59 and 68. Each made par on one hole.
Huntley had a score of 72 to finish in a two-way tie for 18th.
Miller and Walls were 20th and 21st, respectively, with scores of 74 and 75.
