Daisy Hubbard and Rigby Morford came close to posting double-doubles for the Keystone Heights High School girls basketball team, which defeated host Baldwin for a 43-34 District 3-3A win on Dec. 5.
The Indians (4-0) got consecutive three-pointers from Hubbard to take an 14-2 lead in the first half.
Baldwin (1-5) would then outscore Keystone 14-5 as the Indians took just a three-point lead into halftime.
Raven Bastin knocked down a trey to break a 21-21 tie in the third quarter and later made another shot from beyond the arc to give Keystone a 38-30 lead in the fourth.
Bastin and Hubbard each finished with two three-pointers.
Hubbard led the Indians with nine points, while also grabbing a team-high 13 rebounds.
Bastin and Morford each had eight points, with Morford adding eight rebounds and two blocked shots.
Grace Keaton and Alexandra Papaioannou each finished with four points, while the following had two each: Kadence Massey, Maria Papaioannou and Melissa Williams.
Massey also grabbed eight rebounds and led the team in assists with eight. She and Bastin each had a team-high two steals.
Keystone entered the game off a 44-12 win over visiting Duval Charter on Dec. 2. Hubbard led the team with 11 points, while the Indians also got eight from Alexandra Papaioannou, six from Maria Papaioannou, five from Massey, four from Arianna Denmark, three from Bastin, two each from Keaton, Morford and Kirsten Lavin and one from Williams.
Maria Papaioannou led the Indians in rebounds with eight, while Alexandra Papaioannou led the team in steals with six.
Massey and Bastin had four and three steals, respectively, while Keystone also got two blocked shots each from Massey and Maria Papaioannou.
The Indians host West Nassau on Thursday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. and will travel to play district opponent Palatka on Friday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m.
On Monday, Dec. 15, Keystone hosts Clay at 7 p.m.
