KHHS girls soccer team ends losing skid

Keystone Heights High School had lost three in a row in girls soccer, but the Indians put an end to that streak with a 4-1 win over visiting Orange Park on Jan. 9.

Tayler Buchanan, Parker Collins, Halea Lam and Kaylee Park each scored a goal. Park also had one assist.

The Indians (6-8-3) entered the match off a 3-2 loss at Newberry on Jan. 6. Buchanan scored both goals off assists from Park and Kayden Huntley.

Goalie Xana Briley made nine saves.

Keystone travels to play Williston on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 5 p.m. and will host Episcopal on Friday, Jan. 16, at 5:30 p.m.
