LEGAL NOTICE:

The Bradford County Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS) Planning Committee/Workgroup will meet Thursday, April 16th, 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Bradford County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located in the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office at 945B North Temple Avenue, Starke, FL 32091.  Bradford County Emergency Management encourages any interested citizens and business owners to attend and provide input.  The Committee guides the preparation and contents of the Bradford County Local Mitigation Strategy which serves as the plan submitted to the Florida Division of Emergency Management to reduce the community’s long-term risk for protecting people and property from the effects of natural disasters and to build a safer and stronger community.

This public meeting is being conducted in a handicapped accessible location.  Any handicapped person wanting to attend the meeting and requires assistance with accessibility and/or interpretation should contact the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Management Division at (904) 966-6336 at least 5 calendar days prior to the meeting date.  Any person wishing to provide comments who cannot attend the meeting may do so by submitting written comments via email to [email protected] at least 5 calendar days prior to the meeting date.  The meeting agenda may be obtained within 5 days of the meeting date via email request as well, or by visiting www.bradfordsheriff.org/emergency-management/lms/.
