Annie Graham
Annie Graham was born to Philip and Annie Tyre on Feb. 6, 1926, in Miami. She was the youngest of five children. She graduated from Miami Tech High School, where she studied photography. After graduation, she was chosen to go to Panama for a year, where she worked for the State Department, setting up audio- visual equipment at schools. She married Louis Graham in 1947 and had two daughters, Luann and Elaine. She worked as a floral designer at the Coconut Grove Flower Shop as well as helping care for her aging parents and Lou’s grandparents. She and Lou moved to Keystone Heights in 1974 for a slower-paced life in a rural setting. They bought 10 acres of land and built a house in the country, where they enjoyed gardening, raising animals, peace and quiet and the best neighbors ever. She worked at Clay Electric Co-op for 17 years and retired in the early ‘90s. Ann was a founding member and active in the Methodist Church in Keystone. She loved to travel and was able to fulfill her dream of going to Alaska and seeing the western US. At the age of 95, when she could no longer live alone, she moved to Palm Beach Gardens to live with her daughter. She was loved by everyone who knew her and was a generous woman who selflessly cared for many. She was an excellent cook and hostess and fed countless people. She was especially known for her Key lime pies which she shared generously. She passed from this life on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the age of 100.
