Keystone Heights’ 8U all-stars softball team won the District 3 championship by defeating Newberry 12-7 on June 7 in Palatka. The team’s cause was helped by a six-run third inning, which included two RBI from Madeline Lanier and one RBI each from Skylar Barber, Saylor Collins, Brooke DeCrosta and Jaylyn Miller. The game also featured a home run from Jovey Smith.
