…While being taken to the county jail, Altman began banging his head against the inside of the patrol car, injuring his forehead, according to the arrest report. He was transported to the North Florida Starke ER, where deputies said he jumped from a hospital gurney in an attempt to flee custody after a handcuff was removed. Deputies used physical control techniques to regain control of him.
