Ayden Tomlinson was the medalist in the Union County High School boys golf team’s win over host Taylor County on Aug. 18 at the Perry Golf and Country Club.
The Tigers had a team score of 160 to the Bulldogs’ 183.
Tomlinson finished with an even-par, nine-hole score of 35. He had three birdies and made par on three holes in finishing five strokes ahead of Taylor’s Wyatt Towles.
Union’s Gavin Kuhn and Emery Muse finished tied for third, with each shooting a 41. Kuhn made par on four holes, while Muse made par on three.
The Tigers’ Eastyn Miller made par on three holes and had a sixth-place score of 43.
Union hosts Chiefland and West Nassau on Monday, Aug. 24, at 4 p.m. at Lake City’s Quail Heights Country Club.
