Aubrey Brooks earned medalist honors for the second time in three matches as the Keystone Heights High School girls golf team defeated host Gainesville on Sept. 8 at Ironwood Golf Course.
The Indians had a team score of 232 to Gainesville’s 286.
Brooks made par on three holes in finishing with a score of 44. That put her 18 strokes ahead of teammates Evelyn Bardier and Bryley Lee, who each shot a 62 to tie for second. Lee made par on one hole.
Keystone’s Evie Hallberg finished fourth with a score of 64, while teammate Jillian Huntley shot a 65 to finish in a three-way tie for fifth.
Ila Miller shot an eighth-place score of 74 for the Indians.
