Starke Elementary School Principal Laurén Morgan presented a group of young art students to the Bradford School Board on Monday, praising their talent and imagination.
Examples of their artwork were on display at the back of the boardroom.
“I am excited to share some of the incredible artwork that has been created by our elementary students at Starke Elementary School,” she said. “These pieces are more than just colorful drawings or paintings. They actually represent imagination, growth and the unique perspectives of our young learners that are here tonight.”
“Through their art students, explore emotions, tell stories and connect with the world around them. It is a vital part of their development, supporting creativity, critical thinking as well as confidence. We’re proud to celebrate their efforts today and showcase the power of visual expression in our schools,” she said, thanking the school board for continuing to support the arts.
“It truly makes a difference in every child’s educational journey,” Morgan said.
Each of the students introduced received a round of applause before being photographed with their artwork.
