A small logistics company doesn’t often compete with larger firms, but Atlantic Logistics has made a mark by winning the Carrier of the Year award in 2024.
With 25 years in the business, including 10 years at their Keystone Heights location, Atlantic Logistics is based in Jacksonville, Florida, and employs 65 people.
They excel in flatbed traffic throughout the state and offer exceptional customer service.
Rex Oliver, Director of Operations, stated, “We’ve assembled a small team of dedicated and business-minded individuals who go above and beyond for every load. We truly appreciate the opportunity to give back to the community in various ways, including sponsoring women’s golf, the Lions Club, and many other wonderful organizations.”
Oliver estimates they move 11,000 freight loads annually, primarily building materials. They also plan to expand to various locations within Florida, including Tampa and Orlando.
“It’s been it’s been a real pleasure to work with this team, and I just want to thank each one of our employees, whether they’re in Jacksonville or they’re in Keystone Heights, for always going above and beyond the call of duty to provide the exceptional service to our customers and they do it day in and day out, unbelievable,” he said.
Atlantic Logistics is very involved with the community through events such as parades, the Fourth of July, Halloween, and more. Last year, they were awarded Regional Carrier of the Year.
