Edwin and Iris (Raley) Bennett of Keystone Heights will celebrate 70 years of marriage on July 4, 2022.
The couple met in Keystone Heights and married in Folkston, Georgia, in 1952 while Ed was on leave after basic training. Ed and Iris moved back to Keystone Heights after his service in the Army to raise their family. They are still involved in the community. Both worked for Clay Electric until Iris retired in 1988 after 30 years and Ed retired in 1994 after 32 years.
The couple have two children, Terri and Mark, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
