Best-Overall 4-H awards go to Atticus Allen, Cassidy Brown, Michael Brown

Atticus Allen, Cassidy Brown and Michael Brown earned Best-Overall awards with projects in the 4-H exhibit room at the Bradford Agricultural Fair.

Michael Brown received Best Overall in the Senior Division area of Woodworking. That gave him two Best-in-Area awards, with the other received in Photography.

Allen, who’s in the Intermediate age range, received Best Overall in the area of Photography and earned additional Best-in-Area awards in Jewelry and Paintings and Drawings. Allen earned a blue ribbon for a second Jewelry project as well as three blue ribbons for projects in the area of Creative Arts.

Cassidy Brown had the Best-Overall project in the Junior Division for a project in Fiber Arts. She earned additional blue ribbons in Photography and Decorated Items as well as a red ribbon in Decorated Items and a red ribbon in Canned Goods.

 

Senior awards

Four participants each earned one Best-in-Area award: Jason Borgner in Decorated Items, Tatum Burkhalter in Ornamental Plants (Flowering), Rylee Dixon in Creative Arts and Makel Peterson in Canned Goods.

Burkhalter also earned a red ribbon in Edible Plants, while Peterson received a red ribbon in Photography.

Borgner earned a white ribbon in Edible Plants.

Hattie F. (last name withheld upon request) received two blue ribbons in Edible Plants and Ornamental Plants (Flowering).

Bryle Cadle and Elijah Sapp each earned a blue ribbon in Photography, while the following earned one blue ribbon each in Edible Plants: Devontrae Campbell, Kaylee Kinnard, William Lilly, Kendall Mort and Chason Van Allen.

Kinnard and Lilly also earned one red ribbon each in Ornamental Plants (Flowering), while Campbell received a white ribbon in Ornamental Plants (Flowering).

Lillian Conner and Kassi Kanady each earned a blue ribbon in Ornamental Plants (Flowering), with Conner also earning red ribbon in Edible Plants.

Grayson Jennings received a blue ribbon in Ornamental Plants (Non-Flowering).

The following earned two red ribbons each: Kryslin Arguello in Edible Plants, Bralyn Johnson in Edible Plants and Ornamental Plants (Flowering), Jacquise Mitchell in Edible Plants and Ornamental Plants (Flowering) and Hunter Wooten in Edible Plants.

Kelsey Reddish received a red ribbon in Decorated Items, while Kandan Crawford, Ayana Peterson and Luke Sapp each earned one red ribbon in Photography.

Earning one red ribbon each in Edible Plants were Shyann Breese, Trinity Fasano, Emme Henley, Max Orgosell, Patrick Pendarvis, Conner Rowe and Chrishon Sharpe.

Jerry Baxter and Marquise Hayes each earned one red ribbon in Ornamental Plants (Non-Flowering), while the following received one red ribbon each in Ornamental Plants (Flowering): Johnathan Armstrong, Caleb Barber, Caleb Brooks, Darsyn Brooks, Jaden Hankerson, Nicholas Mata, Kaleb Mott, Luke Powell, Nicholas Salazar and Troy Tetstone.

Mott, Powell, Salazar, Kadynce Brown, Case Clemons, Steven Demers, Brandy Hall, Tenly Hardee, Ty Keim, Tearany Mathis, Neveah McCullough, Michael Miller, Derek Ramirez, Lucas Seigerwalt, Oscar Stevens, Shane Stokes and Ethan Tinsley each earned a white ribbon in Edible Plants.

Hardee and Keim also earned one white ribbon each in Ornamental Plants (Flowering).

The following received one white ribbon each in Ornamental Plants (Flowering) as well: Antonio Florence, Logan Lee, Mikayla Pernell and Hailey Starling.

Krystin Cornwall earned a white ribbon in Ornamental Plants (Non-Flowering), while Ashton Kilosky and Jake Markham received white ribbons in Photography and Decorated Items, respectively.

 

Intermediate awards

Four exhibitors earned one Best-in-Area award each: Destin Brown in Creative Arts, Sophie Elkins in Ornamental Plants (Non-Flowering), Greyson Johns in Woodworking and Nicolas Ward in Edible Plants.

Elkins received two additional blue ribbons in Creative Arts and also had one red ribbon in Photography and one red ribbon in Jewelry.

Johns earned an additional blue ribbon in Creative Arts as well as one red ribbon in Photography.

Ward received two red ribbons in Woodworking and Ornamental Plants (Non-Flowering), while Brown received a red ribbon in Photography.

Allison Tetstone earned two blue ribbons in Photography and Creative Arts and one red ribbon in Canned Goods.

Nicolas Stanaland received one blue ribbon in Ornamental Plants (Non-Flowering), while the following earned one blue ribbon each in Photography: Jarin Borgner, Dylan Brown and Jordan Ritchie. Brown also received a red ribbon in Educational Materials, while Borgner and Stanaland each earned one red ribbon in Paintings and Drawings.

 

Junior awards

Lola Allen earned three Best-in-Area awards in Jewelry, Paintings and Drawings and Edible Plants. She earned a blue ribbon for an additional project in Jewelry as well as one blue ribbon in Photography.

Trenton Johns earned Best in Area for projects in Photography and Woodworking. He earned one additional blue ribbon in the area of Paintings and Drawings.

Garrett Lee earned Best in Area for a project in Decorated Items.

Earning one blue ribbon each in Ornamental Plants (Non-Flowering) were Ella Darby, Lucy Nash and Bensen Roberts. Darby and Roberts also earned one white ribbon each in Paintings and Drawings.

Jaydin Borgner received one blue ribbon in Photography, while Shawn Ward earned three red ribbons in Woodworking, Ornamental Plants (Non-Flowering) and Edible Plants.

Tyrus Boyette received one red ribbon in Ornamental Plants (Non-Flowering), while Christopher Breese received one red ribbon in Paintings and Drawings.

Jase Bishop earned one white ribbon in Paintings and Drawings.

 

Cloverbuds

Those 4-H members who aren’t old enough to be part of the Junior Division are allowed to participate as Cloverbuds. They all receive green ribbons for their projects.

Ethan Jerrels received three ribbons in Decorated Items, while Kingsley Best received two in the same area.

The following earned one ribbon in Paintings and Drawings and one ribbon in Ornamental Plants (Non-Flowering): David Breese, Kyndall Langston, Hattie McRee, Johanna McRee, Pierce Nash, Shaelyn Rogers and Chloe Williams.

Ember Beville, Isaiah Boyette and Tate Ward each received a ribbon in Ornamental Plants (Non-Flowering), while Noah Morris received a ribbon in Paintings and Drawings.
