Bradford and Keystone Heights high schools competed in a four-team boys golf match on Oct. 7 at Palatka Golf Club, with the Tornadoes and the Indians tying for third place behind Palatka and Middleburg.
Palatka won the match with a team score of 167. Middleburg had a score of 171, while Bradford and Keystone each had a score of 184.
The Indians’ Nate Bardier made par on four holes and finished in a two-way tie for fourth with a score of 42.
Bradford’s Charlie Zink, who made par on three holes, had a score of 43 to finish in a three-way tie for sixth.
The Tornadoes’ Steven Carter finished in a three-way tie for ninth, making par on three holes in finishing with a score of 44.
Keystone’s Will Begue, who made par on two holes, shot a 45 to finish in a two-way tie for 12th.
The Indians’ Jackson McDaniel was in a two-way tie for 15th, making par on four holes and shooting a 47.
Bradford’s Patrick Pendarvis and Avery Burgin placed 17th and 18th, respectively, with scores of 48 and 49. Pendarvis made par on one hole.
The Indians’ Baylor Ford and Landon Spence were involved in a three-way tie for 19th. Each shot a 50, with Ford getting a birdie.
Tucker Griffis shot a 22nd-place score of 53 for Bradford, while Keystone’s Luke Lewis, who had a birdie, shot a 23rd-place score of 55.
The Tornadoes’ Mason Stone had a score of 58 to finish 24th.
