Bradford and Keystone Heights high schools’ volleyball teams will begin play in their respective district tournaments on Tuesday, Oct. 14, with the Indians getting to play at home.
Keystone earned the second seed in District 5-3A and will host a semifinal match against third seed Crescent City at 6 p.m. on Oct. 14. The district’s other semifinal match will pit top seed Newberry against either fourth seed Palatka or fifth seed Interlachen. Palatka and Interlachen play each other on Monday, Oct. 13.
The semifinal winners will play for the championship on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. If the Indians reach that match, they will travel to play Newberry or host Interlachen or Palatka.
Bradford is the fourth seed in District 4-3A and will travel to Jacksonville to play top seed Wolfson on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 6 p.m. Second seed Bolles and third seed Episcopal will play in the district’s other semifinal match.
The semifinal winners will play for the championship on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. If the Tornadoes defeat Wolfson, they’ll travel to play either Bolles or Episcopal.
