The fifth seed Tornadoes (9-14) took the early lead with a run in the top of the first. Ryland Rike, who reached on a fielder’s choice, stole second and advanced to third on a Ryder Thompson ground out. He scored when the Warriors committed an error on a Mattox Burgin fly ball.

West Nassau (13-12) scored five runs in the bottom of the first.

Jeffrey Brugh went 2 for 4 for Bradford, which also got a double from Patrick Pendarvis.

The Tornadoes trailed 5-0 before scoring both of their runs in the third. Brugh and Rike singled, with Brugh scoring on a Thompson sacrifice fly. Rike later scored on a wild pitch.
