Bradford High School had a total of four runners compete in the boys and girls races at the Oct. 17 District 2-2A cross country meet in Jacksonville, with Natalie Thomas earning the highest finish as the Tornadoes’ season came to an end.
Thomas placed 63rd out of 125 with a time of 24:34.
The girls race also included Bradford’s Lindsey McCoy, who had a time of 26:54.
In the boys race, Bradford got times of 27:17 and 28:13, respectively, from Hayden Starling and Kayden Lee.
To qualify for the Region 1 meet, Bradford’s runners would’ve had to have been among the top three individuals not on the eight region-qualifying teams.
