BHS’ Devore takes 3rd in girls match with Clay, Keystone

Bradford High School girls golfer Kaylee Devore made par on one hole and shot a third-place score of 58 in an Oct. 3 match against Clay and Keystone Heights in Keystone.

Neither Bradford nor Clay fielded a full team. Keystone had four players participate to finish with a team score of 301.

The Indians’ Amber Cunningham placed fifth with a score of 64, while the Tornadoes’ Sara Rantz shot a sixth-place score of 69.

Keystone took the seventh through ninth, with Aubrey Brooks shooting a 71 and Ashlynn Duncan and Jasmine Walls shooting 82 and 84, respectively.

The Indians were coming off an Oct. 2 match hosted by Clay in which the Blue Devils did field a full team. Clay had a score of 233, which put the Devils 73 strokes ahead of Keystone.

Cunningham had a fifth-place score of 66, while Walls and Brooks were sixth and seventh, respectively, with scores of 73 and 78. Duncan had an eighth-place score of 89.
