Prior to playing Union County on April 17 (see related story), the Bradford High School baseball team suffered losses against visiting Suwannee and Interlachen.
The Tornadoes were held to three hits in a 6-1 loss to Suwannee on April 11.
Bradford scored the game’s first run when Jeffrey Brugh hit a two-out single that scored Ryland Rike in the bottom of the second.
Suwannee scored four runs in the third, taking advantage of four singles, a double and an error.
On April 14, Mattox Burgin had Bradford’s only hit in a 12-0, five-inning loss to Interlachen.
The Tornadoes host Palatka on Thursday, April 20, at 7 p.m. and travel to play Hamilton County on Friday, April 21, at 6:30 p.m. Bradford returns home Monday, April 24, to play Madison County at 6 p.m. before traveling to play Wolfson on Wednesday, April 26, at 6 p.m.
