Bradford High School’s Sarah Rantz earned a second-place finish in a Sept. 16 girls golf match at Lake City’s Quail Heights Country Club that also included Branford and Union County.
Rantz, who made par on one hole, tied with Branford’s Liberty Ward, with each shooting a 55.
The Tornadoes’ other golfer, Alexis Fuhrman, placed fifth with a score of 57.
Fuhrman and Rantz finished seventh and ninth, respectively, at a Sept. 18 match at Palatka Golf Club that also included Middleburg as well as host Palatka. Fuhrman had a score of 62, while Rantz had a score of 69.
