BHS runners keep showing improvement

Brett Redding has set a personal record in each race.

Bradford High School participated in a cross-country meet in Baldwin on Sept. 19, with Kayden Lee and Brett Redding both setting personal records.

Redding, who has set a new PR in each race this season, ran a time of 23:57, while Lee had a time of 26:03.

Hayden Starling ran a time of 27:25, which was 25 seconds from his PR.

Alissa Reddish, who returning to full strength, ran a time of 25:54. Coach John Loper said her times are dropping and that he expects her to be at her personal best by the time of the District 2-2A championships.

Prior to the meet, Lee, Redding and Starling competed in the junior varsity race at the Keystone Indian Invite on Sept. 16. Redding and Lee finished with times of 23:59 and 27:17, respectively, while Starling had a time of 28:26.
