Kiersten Hodges and Cassidy Spratlin each drove in three runs as the Bradford High School softball team defeated visiting Bishop Snyder 10-0 in six innings on March 18.
Bradford (6-2) scored three runs each in the second, third and fourth innings.
The second inning consisted of a two-run double by Hodges, while Hannah McFarland hit a run-scoring triple.
Allie Funderburk, Macey Padgett and Spratlin hit back-to-back-to-back singles in the third, with Funderburk and Padgett scoring on Spratlin’s hit. Hodges later drove in her third run on a sacrifice bunt.
In the fourth, Taylor Reddish hit a run-scoring double, while Padgett and Spratlin each drove in a run on a single.
Padgett drove in the final run on a single in the sixth.
Hodges and Spratlin went 1 for 1 and 2 for 2, respectively, while Padgett was 3 for 3. McFarland and Reddish each went 2 for 3, while Funderburk went 2 for 4.
Spratlin started in the circle, giving up two hits in four innings. Rylie Blankenship closed it out, giving up one hit in two innings.
The Tornadoes will return to action on Monday, March 28, when they travel to play Yulee at 7 p.m.
