Bradford High School will host Christmas basketball tournaments for varsity and junior varsity boys and girls teams beginning with a JV tournament, which is Friday, Dec. 22, through Saturday, Dec. 23.
The varsity tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 27, through Friday, Dec. 29.
Day one of the JV tournament tips off at 2 p.m. on Dec. 22 with a girls game between Bishop Kenny and Westport. The Keystone Heights boys team will play KIPP at 3:30 p.m., followed by a 5 p.m. game between the J.W. Mitchell and KIPP girls teams.
The first day concludes with the Bradford boys team taking on Interlachen at 6:30 p.m.
Tip-off times for day two of the tournament are the same as for day one. The first game is between the J.W. Mitchell and Westport girls teams, followed by a boys game between Interlachen and KIPP. The Bishop Kenny and KIPP girls teams play the third game, followed by a boys game between Bradford and Keystone.
The varsity tournament consists of five games each day, with tip-off times of 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Day one on Dec. 27 begins with a girls game between Keystone and Tocoi Creek, followed by a boys game between Keystone and Tavares. The Bradford girls team plays Crossroads Academy in the third game, while the fourth game pits the Ridgeview and Miami Beach boys teams against each other. Action concludes with a boys game between Bradford and Englewood.
The Keystone and Crossroads girls teams get the action started on day two, followed by games against the Ridgeview and Tavares boys teams, the Bradford and Tocoi Creek girls teams, the Keystone and Englewood boys teams and the Bradford and Miami Beach boys teams.
Day three begins with the Crossroads and Tocoi Creek girls teams, followed by the Keystone boys taking on Miami Beach. The Bradford and Keystone girls play each other in the third game, followed by a game between the Englewood and Tavares boys teams. The tournament then concludes with the Bradford boys team playing Ridgeview.
