Bradford High School’s volleyball team swept Interlachen for the second time this season, defeating the visiting Rams 3-0 (25-16, 25-12, 25-8) on Sept. 25.

Autumn DeKorver, Ar’Nayshia Griffin and Ky’lee Johnson had six kills each, while Leila Roberts added five.

DeKorver and Roberts led the team in blocks with three each. Griffin had two.

Kingslee Phillips and Shelby Cole recorded 12 and 11 assists, respectively. Phillips also had six digs and four service aces, while Cole added three aces.

Manduo Wei led the team in digs with eight, while Tatum Burkhalter had five to go along with a team-high five aces.

DeKorver had four aces.

The Tornadoes (7-4), who’ve won three in a row and seven of eight, played at Baker County on Sept. 29 and will travel to play Palatka on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m., following a junior varsity match at 6 p.m. Bradford hosts Hilliard on Wednesday, Oct. 1, with the JV teams playing at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity teams playing at 6:30 p.m. The Tornadoes then travel to play Baldwin on Thursday, Oct. 2, with matches scheduled for 6 p.m. and  7 p.m.

On Monday, Oct. 6, the varsity team travels to play Fort White at 6:30 p.m.
