Bradford High School’s volleyball team concluded the regular season with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-12, 26-24) win over visiting Union County on Oct. 10.
The Tornadoes got 22 assists from Raelynn Moore, with Reagan Harris and Ajiyah Jackson being the main beneficiaries with six kills each. Ar’Nayshia Griffin added four kills.
Griffin led Bradford with four blocks, while Jackson and Harli Mosley each had two.
Rylie Blankenship and Kinley Burkhalter recorded 20 and 17 digs, respectively, for the Tornadoes, while Kencie Wainwright had 10. Harris added seven digs.
Blankenship also had three service aces, while Harris and Moore each had two.
Union got 16 assists from Jordan Hendricks, with Jailyn Simmons recording 11 kills. Simmons also had six blocks.
The Tigers got 13 digs from Indi Knox, while Layla Barber and Jurney Crim had 12 and 10, respectively. Abby Williams added eight digs.
Crim and Knox each had two aces.
Bradford’s win snapped a three-match losing streak. Prior to that streak, the Tornadoes defeated host Crescent City 3-0 (25-11, 25-19, 25-20) on Oct. 2.
Jackson and Griffin, who each had two blocks, recorded four and three kills, respectively.
Moore had 17 assists.
Blankenship led the team in digs with 12, while Wainwright had a team-high seven aces. Moore and Blankenship had six and five aces, respectively, while Burkhalter and Chloe Anderson each had two.
Burkhalter and ChristyAnna Burch each added five digs.
