Home has been good for the Bradford High School volleyball team, which has now won two straight matches.
The Tornadoes played their first five matches on the road, dropping four straight after opening the season with a 3-0 win over Keystone Heights.
Bradford stopped that skid at its first home match, defeating Palatka 3-0 (25-22, 25-11, 25-11) on Sept. 12. Ar’Nayshia Griffin and Ajiyah Jackson had six and five kills, respectively. They were also the blocks leaders — Griffin with four and Jackson with three.
Raelynn Moore recorded 17 assists.
Bradford then hosted Crescent City on Sept. 14, defeating the Raiders 3-0 (25-11, 25-19, 25-20). Moore had 25 assists and four service aces, while Jackson had 10 kills and four blocks.
Reagan Harris had six kills to go along with three aces. Kencie Wainwright also had three aces.
Harli Mosley and Griffin had three and two blocks, respectively.
The Tornadoes host Baker County on Monday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m. They then play road games against P.K. Yonge on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m. and Suwannee on Monday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m.
Junior varsity matches will begin one hour prior to each varsity match.
