STARKE— The Florida Highway Patrol said a Starke man died after his motorcycle ran off a roadway and crashed into a ditch north of Starke.
The agency said in a news release that the 62-year-old was traveling eastbound on Northeast 185th Street on a black Suzuki motorcycle.
FHP said the driver was not wearing a helmet and suffered fatal injuries after the motorcycle struck the ditch and came to rest on the south shoulder of the roadway, also known as Mark Lee Starling Road.
