BMS’ Adkins places 18th at Matanzas meet

Three from Bradford Middle School competed in the middle-school girls race at the Sept. 30 Run Matanzas Cross-Country Invitational in Palm Coast, with Anna Adkins finishing 18th out of 161 runners.

Adkins had a time of 14:08 and was one of two BMS runners to place in the top half of the field. Tinsley Fortune ran a 40th-place time of 15:35.

Autumn Dilung also ran, finishing with a time of 22:42.

Bradford High School had three runners in varsity boys race, led by Brett Redding, who had a time of 25:19. Hayden Starling and Kayden Lee had times of 27:50 and 29:22, respectively.

Ny’Asia Lopey and Julianna Dilung ran times of 36:57 and 48:48, respectively, in the varsity girls race.
