Chandler, Jenkins lead Tigers in win over Baker

Union County High School got 15 and 14 points from Tyrese Chandler and Gavin Jenkins, respectively, in a 65-47 win over visiting Baker County on Jan. 25.

Jenkins and Chandler also dished out four and three assists, respectively, while Jenkins also added three steals and seven rebounds in the third straight win for the Tigers.

Adrian Manns blocked seven shots.

Union (11-3) entered the game off a 74-55 win over visiting Interlachen on Jan. 24. Jenkins had 21 points, nine steals and three assists, while Chandler poured in 16 points.

Adrian Chandler, who had eight points, led the team in assists with eight, while Isaiah Folaji had four.

Manns grabbed six rebounds and blocked three shots, while Jeppson Dang was second behind Jenkins in steals with four.

The Tigers played Middleburg this past Monday and will travel to play Baker County on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 7:30 p.m. Union hosts Hamilton County on Friday, Jan. 31, at 7:30 p.m.
