Bradford County Fire Rescue said that at around 9 a.m., Thursday, multiple units were dispatched to the mobile home in the 8000 block of County Road 233.
“On arrival, units were met with heavy fire conditions,” the agency said. “As of 0945 hours, the fire has been knocked down, and units continue to perform overhaul operations.”
A family member of the resident said the woman, who lived in the house with her teenage daughter, lost four pets to the blaze, cats and dogs, in addition to the home. The family member added that the resident suspects wiring or an electrical issue started the fire.
