STARKE— A Bradford County jury found Kelsey Kelli Taylor, 34, of Glen St. Mary guilty of DUI during a June 20 trial.

County Judge D. Tatum Davis sentenced the defendant to 10 days in weekend jail and one year of probation. The judge also suspended Taylor’s license for five years.

According to an arrest report, on Dec. 10, 2021, Bradford Deputy Jacob Desue observed the defendant’s Chevy pickup drift back and forth between the center line and the shoulder of U.S. 301, near State Road 233, also known as the Starke bypass.

Desue wrote that after he told Taylor he was conducting a criminal traffic investigation, she invoked her Miranda rights and refused to perform field sobriety exercises or submit to a breath alcohol test.
