At the December school board meeting, the Union County School District was honored to recognize Bart Andrews and Andrews Site Prep for their continued support for the students of Union County. In addition to being a sponsor of multiple athletic teams, Andrews Site Prep generously supported the athletic programs of Union County High School and Lake Butler Middle School by donating score-boards for the UCHS baseball field and gym, as well as O.J. Phillips Complex where LBMS baseball and softball games are played. Andrews Site Prep has also supported students at the Union County Livestock Association Fair as they show and sell their market animals The school district is greatly appreciative of the support Bart Andrews and Andrews Site Prep continually provides. His generosity has provided many additional benefits students have been able to enjoy. Carley Loznicka from West Fraser was present to accept a plaque of appreciation from Superintendent Mike Ripplinger (pictured above). West Fraser has been a strong supporter of the school district by providing donations to the Union County Education Foundation to support local families, providing support and assistance to the faculty and staff, and supporting students as they show and sell their market animals at the Union County Livestock Association Fair. In addition, West Fraser has also donated MacBooks and backpacks to the top 10 graduates for the slasses of 2022 and 2023. West Fraser is a valued business partner dedicated to the betterment of the students and staff of the Union County School District. The school district is thankful for West Fraser and Carley Loznicka their support and grateful for all they do for the students and staff of Union County.At the December School Board Meeting the school district was honored to recognize The Roberts Companies for their longtime and continued support for the students of Union County. Avery Roberts, his wife Twyla Roberts, and son Austin Roberts were present to accept a plaque of recognition and the gratitude of the district from Superintendent Mike Ripplinger. Avery Roberts has been a supporter of the Union County School District for decades and has provided support for many athletic teams, the FFA, students showing and selling their market animals at the Union County Livestock Association Fair, and was an instrumental partner in the purchase of the Jumbotron at Marvin H. Pritchett Field. He is also a strong advocate for the district in Tallahassee, working tirelessly to encourage officials in state government to consider the needs of Union County. Roberts and his family are deeply committed to the Union County School District and the students it serves. The district is grateful for the many years of his family’s support and for the opportunities he has provided to students through his generosity.
