Union County High School’s Zoe Elixson took second in a Sept. 26 girls golf match hosted by Branford in Lake City.
Elixson made par on one hole and finished with a score of 49, which was nine strokes behind medalist Claire Bond of Branford. Elixson was 11 strokes ahead of Branford’s McKayla Harrison.
The Tigers’ other participant, Kerissa Seay, placed 12th with a score of 68.
