Kimberly Palmer is the 2023 Miss Bradford Fest.
The pageant was held Feb. 11 at Bradford High School.
Palmer is the 19-year-old daughter of Tim and Vicki Palmer of Lake Butler. A former Miss Union County High School, she has worked at Nutrition Escape since she was 16 and has taught dance for four years to 3-4-year-olds. One of her greatest passions is working with people with special needs. The Florida Gateway College sophomore plans to attend Santa Fe College to study radiology technology.
The scholarship she received as pageant winner will help her reach that goal.
Teen Miss Bradford Fest was awarded to Sydney Box, the 16-year-old daughter of Jacob and Laresa Box of Lake Butler. She is a varsity cheerleader at UCHS, cheers for two North Florida Elite all-star teams and is an active member of FFA and 4-H.
Junior Miss Bradford Fest was awarded to Charley Box. She is fourth-grader at Lake Butler Elementary who is following her sister, Sydney, as a cheerleader and member of 4-H.
Petite Miss Bradford Fest was awarded to Brilee Melvin, the 6-year-old daughter of Cassie and Brian Melvin of Brooker. She is in the first grade at Southside Elementary and a recent Kiwanis Terrific Kid. She cheers with North Florida Elite, enjoys singing and dancing, and loves animals.
Runners up for the younger divisions included Chloe Anderson, Raegan Godwin and Hadley Holsenbeck.
Other contestants include Bethany Peraino, Olicia Coiana, Jesslyn Hipps, Shalin Hannah, Kylee Kerr, Taylin Holsenbeck, Hailey Griffis, Bailey Varnes, Remington Hipps, Liberty Harahus and Kimberly Palmer.
Bradford Fest also handed out trophies and prizes for the following awards:
