Clay Education Foundation President Carolyn Krall and Vice President Heather Obermiller visited the Keystone Heights Rotary Club to discuss the foundation’s activities.

The pair told the club that the nonprofit has donated over $100,000 in school supplies to teachers through its Tools for Schools shopping events. In addition, the foundation has provided over 675 preschoolers with one free book a month from birth through age 5 through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, awarded over $50,000 to teachers for classroom innovation projects, and provided over 1,000 students with financial literacy and career planning resources.

The foundation also produces the school district’s annual Apple Awards, which showcases the district’s teachers and school-related employees of the year.
