KEYSTONE HEIGHTS— Friends of Gold Head State Park and the Palatka to Lake Butler State Trail donated a pair of gently used golf carts to the state park during its February meeting.
“These will assist staff and volunteers in many ways, such as carrying supplies around to the cabins and campground washhouses,” the group said. “They will also be used to transport ice and firewood to our guests throughout the park that our (citizens support organization) provides for a small donation.”
During the meeting, members of the support group also welcomed Gold Head’s newest staff member: Assistant Park Manager Adam Dunham.
