Asked why she went out for team mascot, she said, “I have a big personality, it’s my junior year, and I want to have fun.”Yearbook editor Trace Keen prepares to shoot some photos before the game. Keen said this is his first year participating in the yearbook. Asked why he volunteered, the senior said he started drawing as his artistic expression, but switched to photography, starting with his phone. “Then my friend’s mom let me play around with one of her cameras and I took her son’s prom photos,” Keen recalled. “They came out really well, and she hadn’t used her camera in 10 years, so I just started using it and taking pictures wherever I could.”
