Tucker Griffis hit a hole in one for the Bradford High School boys golf team, which defeated visiting Gainesville on Sept. 17.
Bradford had a team score of 164 to finish 49 strokes ahead of the Purple Hurricanes.
Griffis finished in a two-way tie for first with teammate Charlie Zink. Each shot a 39, with Griffis making par on three holes and Zink, who had a birdie, making par on five holes.
The Tornadoes’ Steven Carter, who made par on four holes, took third with a score of 41, while Avery Burgin and Mason Stone were fourth and fifth, respectively, with scores of 45 and 47. Burgin and Stone each made par on two holes.
Patrick Pendarvis shot a seventh-place score of 49.
Bradford will return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 23, when it hosts Keystone Heights at 4 p.m.
